Edge Of Your Seat Reading

Translation: At the library, we looked at a good book.

I'm not sure why, but the two people that represent my entire class seem to be synchronously chanting the word "Go".

Last day in town. Bags are (mostly) packed. Fingers crossed that I don't get the screaming baby and/or morbidly obese neighbour. Thanks for the good times, America.

With Onlookers, No Less

Heading up to Toronto after spending the last five days in New Orleans. It's strange to think but in two weeks I'll be back in Australia, ending my six month run of waiting for airplanes and sleeping on couches. Huh.

As for this gem of a journal entry, I'd like to provide a translation but I have no idea how that sentence is supposed to read. Somewhere in there I'm apparently measuring a table but I also appear to be lusting after a boy named Tim.

Very George McFly

A pre-canned post because I'm on the way to Boston. Thanks for the good times, Chicago!

Translation: I spied on girls with my friend ... A friend.

A strange look at my pre-pubescent interest in girls. My teacher's curiosity seems to have blinded her to the moral ramifications of this entry. On a side note, I must say that I am impressed with the illusory depth of field.

1st Grade Calisthenics

Look at us hustle! We appear to be on some sort of forced march.

Apologies for the delay in posting. I really hate the painting that I'm currently working on and am in the process of rushing it out just to get it done. Probably not the ideal attitude but hey.

RRCCCCBBB

Interesting sound effect for a swing set.

I'm currently suffering through a printmaking assignment and thought I'd post this in the interim. Hopefully, some much needed sleep + a last minute adrenaline rush will produce a wondrous result before 1.20PM tomorrow.

Licking Numbers

Translation: I like math.

Probably because it's so much like art.

I'm flying to Toronto in a few days before I head down and start school in upstate New York on a six month exchange. Exciting stuff, but please bear with the inconsistent posting while I try and get my footing.

Elementary Gulag

From my kindergarten journal. I wonder what prompted such a bleak caption. Note the one-eyed people, strictly 2D plane, and neo-cubist mullets -- all trademarks of my 5 year old penmanship.

Jornal?

This is one of my many kindergarten journals. Every morning, we had to write an entry and get the teacher to proof-read it. I recently rediscovered a giant stash of these things and will try to post some material soon.
